Melissa started working as a Client Associate in 2024 after a fulfilling career in the non-profit and higher education sectors, primarily through fundraising.

As a former Certified Fundraising Executive, she loved working with individual donors and hearing their personal stories and aspirations. In her new role, she also enjoys building these special relationships with our clients and hearing their stories too.

Melissa is a native of south Louisiana, and she has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge). She has enjoyed calling central Arkansas home for the past 20 years. She lives in Vilonia, Arkansas with her husband, Paul, a college-age daughter (Mississippi State University) and a son in high school. They enjoy working on their cow-calf operation in El Paso, Arkansas seven days a week, staying busy with school activities, and being actively involved at Vilonia United Methodist Church. Each fall, her family enjoys exhibiting cattle at the county and state agricultural fairs. She does not “call” the Hogs.
